It feels like it wasn’t that long ago when I was posting up a Christmas post about what I got LO for Christmas. 🙂 I know that this post is slightly last minute but better late than never. I’ve gathered a few local and nearby events together for you which are all worth checking out this Easter weekend.

The egg hunt is free but you’ll need to purchase a ticket for the Cutty Sark. After the kids have had fun finding the eggs, you can tour the ship and its gallery.
Create your own Easter basket (craft) @Discover, Stratford

The craft workshop is held indoors in a spacious area of the story trail. Treat the kids to a lovely Easter storytelling with the Discover Story Builders at 12:30pm, 2:30pm & 3:30pm on these days. They will be reading “Little Rabbit Foo Foo” by Michael Rosen and Arthur Robins.
Animal Parks/City Farms
Time: vary – see websites below
Why not treat the kids to an active day out this Easter and see some live chickens, ducks, sheeps and much more.
My top 3 favourite local farms are:
- Mudchute Park & Farm (Isle of Dogs)
- Maryon Wilson Animal Park (Charlton)
- Surrey Docks City Farm (Surrey Quays/Canada Water)
Most of the farms have free small animal petting sessions throughout the day but double check first with the farm for timings as it’ll vary from farm to farm.
