Kitchen Capers by David Banks
Kitchen Capers cookbook is hilariously comical, simple and easy to use. It’s filled with many recipes from soups and starts to hearty mains and desserts. It’s not like your traditional cookbook either – each recipe has been turned into a comic strip which offers some good chuckles.
It does take a little getting used to but as soon as you get the hang of it, you’ll absolutely love it! It stars Ken the chef and Clover the cartoonist, following their adventures as they try to teach each other a few things to cook along the way. I love this cookbook and have found a few recipes that will become my favourites.
Originally from Colchester, he has been working as a freelance cartoonist for over two decades. He’s also supplied cartoons to national and local press as well as magazines, websites and comics. He has also contributed to the Independent, Daily Telegraph, and Financial Times, as well as Punch, Spectator, Dandy and trade magazines.
The Kitchen Capers cookbook is published by Austin Macauley Publishers and is available to purchase from Austinmacauley.com, Amazon and all good booksellers.
