Since starting my blog back in 2015 I have always ensured that my blog has my reader’s best interests at heart. By doing so, I try to offer a variety of posts from my own experiences, days out, and reviews of products and services that I’ve bought and paid for myself. However, I have also been lucky enough to work with a numerous amount of brilliant brands and companies which I am very thankful for and hope to continue doing so.
I make sure that my blog is also as transparent as possible – by placing disclosures at the end of my posts so you, my readers, can spot which posts are sponsored or not. Please see below for a more comprehensive breakdown.
When I work with a brand on a post or project, these are tagged as ‘brand collaboration’ types. For these types of posts and/or reviews I may have been compensated by the brand in exchange for a blog/vlog post review. Compensation can be in the form of payment, a gifted product or service or both, which would be disclosed in the blog footer.
I ensure that my review is unbiased and all opinions, photos and content are my own and should not be reused without consent. Sometimes the brand will supply their own images which I’ll use in the post – these will be credited in the post respectively.

An ‘ad/sponsored’ tag means that specific post has either been written by the brand and I’ve been paid to publish it on my blog or I’ve written the post myself and have been compensated by the brand to do so. There will only be a small percentage of these posts on my blog and I will ensure that these posts will meet strict requirements to ensure that they are relevant and informative to my readers and a good fit with my blog.
A ‘contribution/guest post’ tag on a post indicates that the post was written by another blogger, writer, or brand in exchange for promotion and/or exposure on the blog. No other compensation ie. payment/product/service was given.
You may come across some posts containing with affiliate links – there would always be a disclosure in the footer to mention this and I have left the links un-shortened so you can identify them easier. If you click on one or any of these links, I may earn a small fee for your purchases at no cost to you. As I am not paid for these reviews and posts, it’s a way of being able to make a little money from the products I love promoting. Of course, you can always choose not to click on these affiliate links.
